You can run a post request with the ability to add buttons to objects and also automatically through workflows. This call will send all the record data to the endpoint you specified. You will find the new features in Menu, Settings and Objects and Fields but also in Workflows.

You can now select the fields in each layout to display the results in the bulk search. More from the Settings and Page Layouts menu. The search bar is located at the top of the application and covers all objects.

You can now define field mappings for all object conversions via relationships. From the menu, settings and conversions you select the objects you want and set the fields between them.
Then in a record in the Relationships/Activities tab with the Convert button you can create a new record and automatically the application will copy the values of the fields you have defined.
